SPECIFICATION - STANDARD CASE - SQ / RD / RT & OIFRP SERIES CASE COOLING TOWERS

• COOLING CAPACITY:
  The tower series CASE-SQ & OIFRP, designed to cool from the smallest to the largest flow-rate of water and varying conditions, providing there are no restrictions or limitations of air to, through and from the cooling tower.
  
  
• DESIGN:
  The cooling tower is of counter flow design with PVC fill media or HDPE balls with air being induced from air inlets, induced mechanical draft, vertical air discharge, pipe distribution of the water employing a single fan.
  
  
• CONSTRUCTION:
  The framework is fabricated from FRP designing to carry the mechanical equipment water in the spray arms, live and wind loads. Operational and wind loads up to 200 km/hr of protected area can be carried in any horizontal direction.
  
  
• CASING:
  The casing is flame-retardant, chemical resistance gel-coat, single/multiple formed fiberglass UV stabilized panels.
  
  
• FAN CYLINDER, FAN DECK:
  Fibreglass bell mouth fan cylinder UV stabilised. Fan deck is fabricated from FRP.
  
  
• UNITIZED STEEL TO SUPPORT MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT:
  The complete supporting structure is Hot Dip Galvanised (HDG) to prevent any kind of corrosion.
  
  
• WATER DISTRIBUTION:
  System comprises a main header with perforated branch arms or rotating HDPE branch pipes.
  
  
• COLD WATER BASIN:
  The standard tower is provided with single FRP cold water basin and single set of plumbing fittings. Cold water floor is also FRP. Galvanised fitting includes an overflow, drain and screened depressed sump. (Depends on scope of work) Water make up valve is of brass sufficient to make up for bleed and evaporation (Depends on scope of work) .
  
  
• FILL MEDIA:
  Is PVC or HDPE with extra rigidity, of size 24X 12 X 6 feet cubed, These are easily handled in construction and maintenance. Fill media is vertical flute type with multiple leading edges to ensure laminar water film. Fluted helical spirals are incorporated to eliminate the danger of air coring or liquids hold ups. An option of High Density PolyEthylene (HDPE) is available for high water temperatures.
  
  
• FANS:
  Induced draft axial flow fan is of aerofoil section adjustable pitch. Material could be of FRP/Aluminium. Fan can be assessed from the top of the Cooling Tower for any maintenance or clearing purpose.
  
  
• ELECTRIC MOTORS:
  flange mounted single speed TEFC weatherproofed IP55 rated, 3 phase 50 Hz cycle 415 volt 6 pole/8 pole.
  
  
• HARDWARE:
  Stainless steel bolts, nuts and washers.
  
  
• PROTECTIVE COATINGS:
  All sheet parts not otherwise mentioned are HDG after fabrication to all code requirements.
  
  
• CONSTRUCTION AND PERFORMANCE:
  In accordance with the drawings and information provided. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to ensure that the equipment conforms in every respect with any tender specifications binding upon or accepted by the purchaser. No responsibility therefore or arising therefrom is accepted by Composite Aqua Systems & Equipments Pvt. Ltd.
  
  
• SITING OF THE COOLING TOWER:
  The cooling tower is designed to operate effectively when so sited as to enable it to have an uninhibited flow of clean air of the designing condition and volume to through and from it. The siting of the cooling tower is the entire responsibility of the purchaser. Composite Aqua Systems & Equipments Pvt. Ltd., shall have no liability or responsibility for incorrect siting or for siting carried out otherwise than in accordance with its specific advice. Advice as to siting of the cooling tower will be made available to the purchaser if requested for a reasonable fee.
  
  
• QUALITY AND PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT:
  In line with continual development, this specification and all dimensions are subject to change without notice.
  
  
• VIBRATION AND SOUND LEVELS:
  No levels are specified or guaranteed in this specification. Standard sound criteria are available on request for the cooling tower manufactured as standard by Composite Aqua Systems & Equipments Pvt. Ltd.
  
  
• SPARE PARTS:
  Available on request from our works.
  
  
• EXCLUSIONS:
  Only those items detailed in the specification will be supplied with standard model cooling tower.
